The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the ace actress announced her birthday in a post on her verified Instagram account, @k8henshaw on Sunday.
In the post, the award-winning actress reflected on her life’s journey, expressing gratitude to God for His grace, life’s lessons, and the gift of life.
She wrote: ”I have lived.

NAN reports that Kate Henshaw, born on July 19, 1971 in Cross River State, is an award-winning Nigerian actress, fitness enthusiast and humanitarian, widely regarded as one of Nollywood’s most accomplished screen icons.
Henshaw made her acting debut in 1993 with the acclaimed movie ‘When the Sun Sets’, and has since featured in more than 100 Nollywood films, earning a reputation for her versatility and compelling performances.
Before becoming an actress, she worked as a model, featuring in several commercials, including a print and television advertisement for Shield deodorant.
Over the years, she has portrayed a wide range of roles across drama, romance and action genres, making her one of the most respected and enduring figures in the Nigerian film industry.
Her contributions to the entertainment industry have earned her several accolades, including the Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2008 for her performance in Stronger than Pain.
Aside acting, Henshaw is a passionate advocate for healthy living and social causes.
