The Kaduna State Roads Agency (KADRA) says more than 90 per cent of inherited road projects across the state have been completed.
The Managing Director of KADRA, Dr Abdullahi Ahmed, disclosed this in an interview with journalists on Saturday in Kaduna.
Ahmed said the achievement reflected Gov. Uba Sani’s commitment to continuity, accountability and delivery of tangible infrastructure.
He said the administration was also executing more than 160 new road projects covering about 1,355 kilometres across Kaduna State.
According to him, the administration prioritised completion of inherited projects alongside the construction of new roads.
He said Hanwa Ruga – Hanwa Yangoro Road and Dogon Bauchi – Kakiyayi Dakace Road, including its bridge, had been completed.
The managing director said Ohinoyi Road, Sultan Surame Road and Unguwan Sarkin Musulmi-Isa Kaita Road Network were also completed.
He added that Nassarawa-Flour Mills Road had been completed, while Rabah Road-Rigasa Train Station remained ongoing.
According to him, NEPA Roundabout ,Unguwan Rimi Road and Hospital Road in Kafanchan, Jama’a Local Government Area, have also been completed.
Ahmed said the projects were designed to improve connectivity between urban centres and rural communities across the state.
He said completing inherited projects demonstrated the administration’s commitment to ensuring that public resources invested in infrastructure delivered lasting benefits.
The managing director assured residents that the agency would continue to support the government’s infrastructure development agenda across the state.(NAN)
