
The North Central Zone National Division One Handball League is scheduled to hold in Abuja from Sept. 23 to Oct. 1, with teams battling for promotion to the Ardova Handball Premier League.
The competition will take place at the Indoor Sports Hall, Package ‘B’, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
According to a notice signed by Mr Jibril Ojih Saidu, the President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) and North Central Zonal Representative on the board of the federation, participating teams are expected to arrive on Sept. 23.
The competition is scheduled for Sept. 24 to Sept. 30, while departure is fixed for Oct. 1.
The league will bring together teams from across the North Central Zone, with each participating team allowed a maximum delegation of 22 persons comprising 18 players and four officials.
The participating teams have been advised to make necessary arrangements for their arrival and departure within the stipulated period.
The winner of the North Central Zone National Division One League will qualify for the National Division One League, providing the teams with an opportunity to progress towards the Ardova Handball Premier League.(NAN)
