The commendation is sontained in a statement issued by the Command’s Spokesman, SP Daniel Ndukwe, on Tuesday in Enugu.

The commissioner reiterated the command’s firm commitment to protecting critical public infrastructure.

He urged residents to continue providing timely and credible information on suspicious activities.

“Residents of the community discovered the suspect trapped inside the transformer enclosure after suffering from severe burns before alerting the command.

“Police officers attached to the Udenu division responded swiftly to the community alerts and found the suspect unconscious at the scene.

“He was immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital, where he was resuscitated and subsequently referred to a specialist hospital for further treatment,’ he said.
