
The Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) has officially unveiled former Super Eagles midfielder, Duke Udi, as the Technical Adviser of Sunshine Stars Football Club.
This is as Banjo Adepoju was unveiled as the Head Coach of the team ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Divine Ogbonnaya, ODSFA Chairman, at the unveiling on Friday in Akure, charged the technical crew to remain focused on the task ahead and avoid all forms of distraction in pursuit of the club’s objectives in the NNL.
He also reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supporting the team by providing a conducive environment for both players and officials to excel.
“Every effort is being directed towards ensuring a successful campaign and securing the club’s return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
“We have confidence in your ability and experience. We will provide you with the necessary support to excel in this assignment. Please stay focused and let us work together to achieve our target this season,” Ogbonnaya said.
In his goodwill message, The Chairman, Ondo State Football Association, Sunday Dele-Ajayi, said the association would continue to work closely with the agency in advancing football development in the state.
According to Ajayi, there will be synergy between the agency and the association to ensure that the relegated teams are promoted to the premier league in the coming season.
Responding, the new Technical Adviser, Duke Udi, thanked Ondo State Football Association and the management of the club for the confidence reposed in him.
Udi assured football stakeholders that the technical crew would work diligently to achieve the club’s target of returning to top flight.
