TCN schedules maintenance at Minna substation
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says it will carry out scheduled maintenance on its 60MVA 132/33kV transformer at the Minna Transmission Substation on Thursday.
The maintenance exercise is expected to run from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
TCN’s General Manager, Public Affairs, Mrs Ndidi Mbah, announced this in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday.
“TCN hereby notifies the public of a scheduled maintenance exercise on its 60MVA 132/33kV transformer at the Minna Transmission Substation on Thursday, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,” she said.
As a result, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to draw power from the transformer to supply customers in Zarumai, Maitumbi, General Hospital Minna, IBB Uphill, parts of Tunga, Bosso, and surrounding areas.
Mbah added that TCN regrets any inconvenience the maintenance may cause electricity consumers in the affected locations. (NAN)
